The veteran producer Balwant Singh Suri one day woke with a supernatural dream viewing the tenth guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (the one decorated with the Kalgi). The producer saw varied potrayals of sikh sacrifices and how the sacrifices are being ruined by the tormented destruction of the sikhi swaroop. Thus Guru ji asked him to do something in this regard in order to preve...nt this catastrophe from happening.
The producer decided to make a Punjabi feature film with story and script all ready and woven into his mind the very next morning. And decided to title the movie as “Pagri Singh Da taaj”. Music recording ,finalizing the casts were the steps that were taken by the artist to make his dream and guruji’s wish true. With babaji’s blessings a shoot of several scenes and also two songs were shot a village sungroor near Patiala from 6-feb to 16 feb 2012. The film has a studded star cast with Balbir Begumpuriya as the Director, Producer and Story write Mr.Balwant Singh Suri, Screenplay Dharamjeet, Music Simran Singh, photography Nandu Chaudhary, Lyrics Amrik Singh Khush, Makeup Man Amrik Randhawa.
