June 13, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) A few movie stills and pictures from shooting of Samir Karnik's Bollywood movie Yamla Pagla Diwana have been released online.
Yamla Pagla Diwana stars Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. Dharmendra and Bobby play a crooked father-son pair based in Varanasi. Sunny plays a Canada based upright man who gets to know after two decades that he has a father and brother in Varanasi. The film is about Sunny's journey to his past.
According to reports, the title is inspired from the superhit 1975 audio song "Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana" directed by Laxmikant Pyarelal from Dulal Guha's film Pratigya (BUY DVD) starring Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Ajit, Kesto Mukherjee, Imtiaz Khan, Jagdeep, Nasir Hussain (II), Abhi Bhattacharya, Satyendra Kapoor, Johnny Walker, Sunder, D K Sapru, Maruti and Jayaprada.
The film has an expected release date in the year 2010 itself.
