Listen online, stream and download the monthly Tigerstyle podcast on Radio Magnetic, presented and produced by the UK’s foremost bhangra production and DJ duo.
We’re very pleased to bring you the first podcast from Tigerstyle. They’ll be presenting and producing a monthly show on Radio Magnetic from now on in and we highly recommend you check it out.
With countless ground-breaking productions, remix work for the likes of Ms Dynamite, Busta Rhymes and Eminem and massive live gigs around the world, they are, we think, the finest Bhangra exponents on the planet.
Tigerstyle are one of the few Asian acts to have ever recorded a live session for the legendary Sir John Peel. They were given the opportunity to showcase material supported by a full band at the first ever BBC Electric Proms in September 2006, were selected out of 1000s of bands to perform on the first ever BBC Introducing Stage at the Glastonbury Festival and performed at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Amongst the names they’ve shared a stage with around the world in recent years are, internationally renowned artists Lily Allen, Talvin Singh, Damian Marley, Jay Sean, Toy Selectah, Nitin Sawhney, The Dub Pistols, Fun-Da-Mental, Misty in Roots, Gunjan, Asian Dub Foundation, Badmarsh & Shri, Truth Hurts, Panjabi MC, Future World Funk, Raghav, Johnny Kalsi & The Dhol Foundation, Semtex, Bobby Friction & Nihal from BBC Radio 1 and Panjabi Hit Squad of BBC 1Xtra.
